So what is driving this trend?
Just as with gold prices, the price of diamonds has been steadily rising for a number of years. With the short supply of mines and rising demand in emerging economies like India and China, industry experts believe this trend is likely to continue for the foreseeable future. Furthermore, with the uncertainty in the global stock markets, investors are now seeing them as a new safe haven, just as with gold.
So what does that mean to me, you might ask?

An engagement ring is a very poenrsal thing and over the years trends have changed. Popular styles usually change about every 10 to 15 years. Wedding rings in the 40’s and 50’s tended to be white gold then into the 60’s and 70’s they tended to be yellow gold. Different gemstones started being used in the 80’s and 90’s and the newest trend has been a yellow and white gold combination as well as the new chocolate diamonds and black diamonds. Sapphires and rubies are frequently used in combination with diamonds for wedding rings. It’s all a matter of what you want.

Another friend got an aquamarine it’s her favorite stone.My friend just got married and her engagement ring was amber her wedding ring is tungsten since they’re almost unbreakable. personally I think what you want is best. Just because it’s traditional to give a diamond ring out doesn’t mean you have to.Some women got tattoos, necklaces, cars, etc
